um, can we say COVER OF JCREW CUTS! or better! send that picture in to a magazine- brilliance! i love these. look at those girls!
Sorry - I came across your blog, and I just want to tell you want an inspiration you are! I LOVE that you make your kids clothes [and do a dang fab job at it too!] - I love that you are so ingenious and creative! It's so refreshing and so inspiring! Lol it makes me wish I had daughters to make gorgeous dresses for. Maybe I'll just make them for my own enjoyment - daughters or not! :D But kudos to all that you do!
Just gorgeous. What lucky girls to have such a cool mom!
Katie, WOW! You make simply AMAZING dresses! The colors and fabric are perfect for Easter and spring! The floral neckline is stunning, very fancy like Paris but playful at the same time! Please send me your pattern or give me a little clue of how you did the neckline! I don't have a clue how to sew but I really want to learn and incorperate beautiful details like the ones that you add! PS The ruffles also add a touch of hispanic flair which I LOVE because we are hispanic! Please reply, I don't have a blog, yet but I am sending my email.
awwww.... i miss those girls and all the fabulous clothes they would come to nursery in. just so you know i want a one! those dresses are AMAZING. you are crazy talented.
hope you, chip and the kids are well....i miss brooklyn!
Who knew you could take a simple jumper, and with whatever magic the collars are made of, make it look absolutely stunning!! I love your work, and I am so glad I came upon your blog!!
These are amazing Katie!!
unbelievably beautiful!! and i love that sweet shoe money post. what kind in-laws. those newlywed years definitely require a little extra here and there
These are the most adorable thing ever. Hope you don't mind I posted about them here: http://seesawdesigns.blogspot.com/2009/04/easter-dresses.html
Oh my those are adorable. I love the flowered collars. Why do I love everything you make? maybe because you are super talented and your girls are stinking adorable.
O my! I'm Sarah...I love to look at all the beautiful things you make. Those dresses are just amazing. I am absolutely curious as to how you made the lovely ruffles. Do you give out your super sewing secrets?
those dresses are perfect! Such sweet pictures of your girls too.
Gorgeous!
Katie,
Big fan here! I am in awe of your talent and gorgeous family. I check your blog regularly. I am always stunned and impressed! I am a beginning sewer and strive to be able to create my own designs some day. Thanks so much for the inspiration!
Those dresses are absolutely beautiful. One commenter mentioned they belong on the cover of J.Crew, and I completely agree. Thank you for the inspiration. I know you mentioned you would be posting instructions on how to do the neckline, and I am really looking forward to that. But, I was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing what fabric you used and what pattern you used to make the A-line dress. It looks like a Kona cotton, is that right? Thank you!
so lovely!!
outstanding!!
Wow. The colours, the ruffles, the black tights. Perfect.
Just stunning...the dresses, your girls, all of it. Your talent never ceases to amaze, or inspire, me!
Adorable dresses!! I love the neckline and color of the dresses! your girls are adorable as well!
Is it odd that, as much as I freaking adore the neckline, its the black tights that are really sending this look over the edge for me?? Awesome. I wonder if that'd go over in Atlanta as well as in NY?
LOVELY!
These dresses are adorable. I am charmed with them!!!!! ;)
I just came across your blog and am blown away by your designs. you have the chicest kids. do you have an etsy shop? if not what are you waiting for!
Hi Katie
