storm king

 

our year isn't complete without a visit to storm king. this is one of the places that make me love living in new york, even when i hate it. breathtakingly beautiful and so incredibly cool. sculpture in (sculpted) nature. after every visit i leave inspired and awed. and exhausted.. it's big.

Oh my! I am soooo glad you posted about this. When we would travel back & forth to see my parents, we saw this from the highway, never knowing its name. (should have taken a detour to find out). Now, we've moved far away and can't readily visit. Sort of makes me sad that I didn't take advantage of it when it was within reach. But thanks for posting this!
