storm king
our year isn't complete without a visit to storm king. this is one of the places that make me love living in new york, even when i hate it. breathtakingly beautiful and so incredibly cool. sculpture in (sculpted) nature. after every visit i leave inspired and awed. and exhausted.. it's big.

i just love storm king. the photos are amazing ... such a lovely looking family.
Beautiful place, wondered where in NY is this park?
hey i'm number 3 comment instead of 33! your family escapade looks fun- more pics of you needed though!
this place looks magical.
Katie, Just found your blog and love it. Was inspired to get the freezer paper out again and make my newly-5-year-old a "5" t-shirt, which she loves. Thanks for the great blog.
I can't believe how big Charlie is in your photos! Last pic of him is a baby...now he's a little man!
gorgeous photos! i love your blog...it's so...light, and charming :) and your kids are dolls!
Look at Charlie!!! He's soo cute Katie! All of you are...
Loved seeing the new picture of Charlie - what a cutie!! That looks like a really neat place. Glad you guys had fun!
oh my gosh. charlie. do you just kiss him all day?
Wish we lived close enough to babysit and send you two on a night out. But lets be honest, we'd have to stay another day to get some time with you and Chip as well... Happy adventuring, we miss you!
this looks fascinating...i'll have to remember it if we ever make it across the country again....
how amazing, and what a name! storm king! i thought it was your boy's nickname for a minute :)
Okay, beautiful kids, beautiful family, beautiful setting, beautiful clothes! Ack, I love your site!
That's place looks SO AWESOME!!! WOW!!!
This place is lovely! I'm going to have to add it to my list of places to visit someday when I make it to the east coast.
hi! i would like to know where you got the lovely sandals for the girls?
The most sweet thing :)
Kisses for the whole family!
Gorgeous pictures. Now I have a new place to visit. Thanks for sharing!
I have been following your family's fun for a while now. I don't know how I found you but I'm glad I did. firstly I have been in love with the name Eve since the movie the hang up! secondly, we are trying to conceive. I know reading this blog is a little bit of a torture and a little bit of hope for me . I see traces of myself if you. I know when the day comes I will be as blissfully happy as you are. I have already started a children's library and purchased fabrics online in hope of someday having a little one to indulge all this upon. for now thanks for sharing. i love your style.
ooo katie, next trip out west when you need to entertain your kids, you could make them transparency coloring books, with dry erase markers. all the braids for charlie they want.
i never comment blogs, but your kids are so amazingly beautiful that i just can't stop looking at those pictures! no wonder girls are so cute, they have the cutest mom. and i absolutely love your designs. can't wait to have kids myself, so i could make such amazing stuff!
greetings from Poland :)
Ruthie on top of that bail of hay makes me sure that I could never ever be as cool a mom as you are. I'd be freaked out waiting for my kid to fall, yelling at her to be careful, distracting her until she actually fell and NOT capturing the best picture ever. That one of Evie in the daisies is the tops.
wow, that place looks amazing!!!
I have to visit this one day!
